More about me
My journey with skating began with a spark ignited by watching the Nagano Winter Olympics in 1998. Despite growing up in rural Australia where skating opportunities were limited, my passion for the sport never waned. It wasn't until I relocated to Melbourne in 2007 that I finally had the chance to pursue skating in 2009.
Since then, I have wholeheartedly committed myself to excelling both as a skater and a coach. I competed as a skater from 2012 to 2016, driven by my enduring love for the sport. Today, I continue to skate for recreation and enjoyment, embracing every moment on the ice.
My educational background is robust, rooted in teaching and music. Before discovering my passion for skating, I pursued classical music at a tertiary level while also teaching. Coming from a family of dedicated educators, I inherited a deep-seated passion for learning and imparting knowledge, which I now bring to my coaching in the skating world.
